Klarna Moves Into Stablecoins via Stripe-Backed Tempo Blockchain in Sweden

Klarna has announced KlarnaUSD, a fully dollar-backed token on Stripe’s Tempo blockchain, as it has joined global payment companies issuing stablecoins to test faster, lower-cost cross-border payments for its more than 100 million users ahead of a planned 2026 launch.
