MicroStrategy, now renamed Strategy, announced that it purchased 20,356 Bitcoins for approximately $1.99 billion in cash.

Strategy founder Michael Saylor shared on his X account that Strategy purchased 20,356 BTC for approximately $1.99 billion at an average price of $97,514 per Bitcoin.

“Strategy purchased 20,356 BTC for $1.99B at a cost of approximately $97,514 and achieved a BTC Yield of 6.9% YTD 2025.

As of 2/23/2025, we hold 499,096 BTC purchased for approximately $33.1 billion at $66,357 per Bitcoin.
